I have a free spot at the rear of my house for planting something that 'climbs'. It is south facing and well sheltered.

I would like to plant a grapevine and train it to climb up the wall (with support), can anyone suggest what 'type' is the best and where I might find it.

I want 'eating grapes', not grapes for winemaking.

I heard the organic guy with the plait (name escapes me) recommend Boskoop Glory (sp?) on Gardener's Question Time. I remembered because I'll be wanting to get one next year.It's a red one I think. Sorry I can't recommend a white.
