What is the size of the greenhouse?
A healthy vine will easily fill a small greenhouse, so the bigger the better.
Other than that, planting the roots outside and growing the vine inside is an excellent thing to do.
I've just done something similar with two peaches. The benefit of the warmer climate inside, can lead to real bumper crops of lovely fruit.
