Always trying something new here. I'm quite talked into Japanese wineberries by Aggy and trying ocra. And probably a few other things of varieties, etc. No room.

Planted two of them (quite small) at very front of middle bed in tunnel close to doors. so presume either cold or probably draught when doors partly open at night ,finished them off. previously lost two loofers in same spot.

Thanks Snoozie, that sorts DD's problem out in a tick! (Sorry, there seems to be a duplication of initials there. It is not my fault.)

round this way butternut squashes and pumpkins are seen as far out man, so mine will be eyeballed from afar - with aid of binoculars.

Coriander - phew, that'll blow their minds - probably call the drug squad knowing my luck.

That's a shot off the veg growing / cooking show, Veg Out, that was on in the summer isn't it, auntie?  It was quite good but as with most veg growing programmes it showed more of the presenters larking about than actually giving any tips on growing stuff

This thread gone a loooooooong, way, sorry, DD.

Geek's gourds are a good idea in your draughty spot, if you want them, may be could try tomatoes there, too.

What new is everybody else growing, then?
