I do....and use them for general forking too....an unbranded fork at work and a SKJO at home here...both conventional flat front/diamond back tine...front strap and Ash crutch T handle

Out of interest, I noticed that the local Wyevale had some Wilkinson Sword Power? forks the other day..which were flat front/diamond back tine in Potato fork style.
My work colleague uses a Fiskars? earlier version of these....the head being the same, however it has has a round shaft rather than shaped shaft of the current offering and a more rounded style of handle top than current one.

I somehow manage to stab a few...the very best ones of course. especially if it is Osprey as they try to run to next doors garden. ;)

The curve of the tines and the flat front of the tines helps the clean lift....put in from the side of the ridge so you can hopefully judge to be clear of any spiking risk...

Confusion often occurs with a Potato fork and a Potato fork...one is a 4 tine flat front diamond back style for lifting Potatoes..the other is a multi tined shovel shaped fork for loading potatoes....a well known TV presenter has been noted lifting with a loading fork.......adding to the confusion...
