Post by: keith1965 on May 08, 2011, 21:25
Hi I work in a greengrocers and get loads of usefull things that would be thrown in the skip the blue mushroom trays are great for holding pots and good as a sieve then we have the black plastic mushroom tubs great for growing things in I have beetroot peas on the go in them at the moment and all for free plus some times get small wooden trays that mandarins come in they make great seed trays so it my be worth you poping in to your local greengrocers and asking if they have any  :D

And the blue mushroom boxes are great for planting your daffs in. Bury it in the garden and when they finish flowering lift the box and put behind the shed to let the foliage die down.
