Finally, at last, the weather has changed. Blue skies, sunshine and warm enough at points to not need a jacket. Now the race to catch up with jobs that should have been done weeks ago begins. Beds being cleared, sowing and planting and grass being cut – feels like we’re gardening again.

Wow you have been catching up! Interesting result with the root trainers for the brassicas. I suddenly discovered the root trainers in the back of the shed, so have some spare room for seeds ... !!

I started the brassicas in seed trays and then pricked out into the rootrainers. Basically it was a space saving measure as normally I would use a 9cm pot. In the future rootrainers will be the norm for me.
