Well I sorted out the freezers yesterday and have wriggle room in them.
SO what was I doing today?
Using up stuff in the fridge.
Making 4 assorted quiches, a pile of cheese, rosemary and squash pancakes, an enormous New York Cheesecake, 2 lots of sweet pastry for tomorrows rhubarb tarts, lemon curd for a rhubarb and lemon curd cake, lemon macaron ice cream and devised a new tomato and cumin chutney.
And I have egg whites to make into chocolate and cherry friands tomorrow.
And where are they going, in the wriggle room in the freezers.

I'm exhausted just reading that  :D

At least you had the room to wriggle them! ;) ;)

No point in freezing empty spaces, its not efficient. :nowink:

That makes me feel better, to know I am being energy efficient.
And I tried 4 new recipes.
Perhaps if I start to use up the fruit in the jam making freezer and get them into jars, I will be able to shut down one of the freezers.

I off loaded some beans & tubs of soups to DD for her new freezer when we popped up this evening , oh & I gave her my last sweetcorn, stopped her cottoning on to my motives

Eer, I am a bit of a whirlwind. And I do work fast:blush:
And Snowy, I did send a food hamper to my mum. Which is only fair as she off loaded a load of damsons, plums and rhubarb to my freezers.
Today I knocked out some quince chutney, finished the lemon macaron ice cream, a rhubarb and lemon curd cake, crème patissiere and poached rhubarb to make into a rhubarb tart tomorrow and cooked a load of beetroot to turn into chutney tomorrow.
Going out next week for a day out to get a rest.
