How can people be allowed to work in an office which has no natural light?   Even prisoners in jail get a window

And a telly, and a choice of colour paint for the Walls. 
I couldn't work in a windowless room it would like being in the cinema all day long. Mind you I can't grow indoor plants either, I am a serial over waterer.

Cacti is the one plant my son grows, he waits till it starts to turn brown then waters then leaves. And it's still not dead. 

Grow guava.  It is not that exciting but I don't think you can over water it.  Speaking of which I think I have found a plant to grow in the office.  You can grow guava easily from seed.
