Ive seen a number of these about on ebay going for all amounts of prices

now ever seller has different idea of how many birds can live in them, how many do the real experts think? bearing in mind im only starting off with 4 or 5 birds( prob bantums ) and they wont be confined to the little run...more a huge enclosure which im now building.

I have a few of these and keep trios of banties in them. They are quite small but if they had permanent access to a larger run probably 4 banties would be OK.

A lady up my road had 6 in one of those :twisted: (large fowl)
I have noticed that now there are only 2 :D
I guess if you are getting banties, then 3/4.
Glad they wouldn't be confined to that run................

We have a couple of "lads sheds" from B&Q 3x4 foot easily accomodating 10 -12 medium birds. They also have built in ventilation and a nice window!
You could probably get a bit knocked off in the 15% off everything sale if your canny! :wink:  :lol:

never thought of that,im going to b&q tomorrow so i will take a look while im there, the enclosure is nearly complete, total living area of around 30 feet by 20 feet, all i need is the house for them to live in plus the assories and obviously the birds

just a thought - we had a 6x4 shed from b+q and adapted it to make our Peckingham Palace - we have 6 medium sized birds in it very comfortably with room for more (OH says no more! I say ha ha!)
If buying from b+q do you know a person over the age of 60 and ask them to go with you and purchase on the relevant day (I think its OAP Wednesday by us in WOlverhampton) I did just so with my parents! The saving enabled me to buy all the essentials (food, litter, straw, drinkers, feeders)
