We sell loose grass seed from out of a large bin and then weigh it at the counter and sell it by the kilo.  You'd be surprised by the amount of people who are buying it now.  I always mention it's too cold but it's a sale. (You will also be surprised to know that grass seed is 0% VAT as it is considered by the Tax Man  to be in the food chain, not that I've ever eaten it).
