Mentioned this elsewhere, but finally cracked summer caulis this year with a club root resistance variety "Clapton" & growing them under debris netting.

OK I'm being dim, but what's debris netting, please?

Debris netting is the netting used by scaffolders to prevent debris hitting passers-by on the head.

Search for it on ebay and you'll see what DD means.
