Grow more
« on: April 28, 2013, 21:48 »
Is Grow more good to use for everything? I have been given half a dozen bottles of Doff liquid grow more plus a 25kg bag of granular version, and a good few bottles of tomato feed. I don't really have much of a clue about fertilizer can anyone help with the best ways to use these?

Growmore is ok for just about everything - maybe not tomatoes once they're fruiting.

The granules can be sprinkled over the surface and raked in a bit at planting time, or anytime things look as if the need perking up (every 6 - 8 weeks in my sandy beds  ::) )

The liquid is easy to apply when you water things like squash and courgettes, or anything in pots.

Growmore is a "Balanced " fertilizer, so is good for almost everything. As mum say's when tom's and other fruiting plant's begin to flower switch to a tomato feed.
