I have just made the Chilli Sauce from Val&John's Book

will this need to be stored in the fridge ? I havent done the secondary strealising stage as it didnt mention it
by the time I has sived it to bottle it it wsnt boiling hot any more, will this matter?

It should be OK just stored in a cool, dark place. Secondary sterilizing isn't necessary. As long as it was still hot, it doesn't need to be boiling, when it went into the bottle, it will fine. It does have a habit of separating though, so shake the bottle before you use it.
