Title: What to plant after garlic

I have lifted my row of garlic after the long green bits died off, and they are drying on a wire rack in the greenhouse (is this right). The leeks and onions are still in the ground. What should i plant/sow there next, legummes? If so, which?

We are going to sow winter spinach  and autumn sown Broad Beans after the garlic is up , have harvested some but the rest is nt quite ready yet.
