Golden sunrise problem
« on: July 26, 2011, 22:47 »
We are growing seven types of tomato in the greenhouse this year and are currnetly picking off all the plants. Most of the plants have reached the roof, have five trusses and have been pinched out, including the golden sunrise. But, since pinching it out, this plant looks to have drying, yellow leaves at the top. If i had not pinched it out i could  leave it to grow some more but now it looks like im stuck with a plant that will grow no more! will the fruits survive and should i leave the leaves?

As far as I am aware Golden Sunrise are an indeterminate type and you should not pinch out the tops. The fruits should survive (unless the plant is diseased in some way) but I would cut off the dead leaves.
