Well, my plot (back garden) is in a terrible state.     I've been so busy trying to get some (long overdue) decorating done this year that I've sadly neglected everything.

I did manage to hoik out the badly blighted tomato plants several weeks ago, and just shook my head and sighed when I looked in the greenhouse and there was no sign of any chance of my plum toms ripening. 

I finally gathered up my courage today to have a quick look, and came out with 5lbs of plum tomatoes!  Even better, my climbing courgette, covered in mildew and left to perish next to the fence, had 2 beautiful courgettes and more to follow.

I have to say, it's given me renewed hope for next year.

The oca you sent round earlier this year is absolutely HUGE now on my plot and I am really looking forward to seeing what's under there in a couple months. Thanks again for that.

I'm not sure I even like Oca Surbie, but it really cheers me to dig those colourful tubers up so late in the year.

Excellent - love those type of surprises  my courgettes are still producing

Surprises like that really make your day don't they? I found a beautiful ripe red pepper today, having not even realised that there were any full sized ones left on the plants at all

Thanks to Mum - 1 small cucumber, and another courgette which had escaped over the fence into next doors garden (last time that happened, I was presented with a marrow sized courgette!). 

Oh, lucky you Sunny!  I gave up with my peppers this year.  Still, there's always next year. 

Blimey Sue, I still have more to come too. Was convinced they would have been all done by now.

My butternuts have come back to life and are growing more now than they did in the summer, looks like we could get another 4 or 5.
And to think I was going to pull them up the other week.
