I have four 30' rows... all I need is the time and a pick-axe to get some out of the rotten clay soil I planted them into. :(   Last year it was like lifting them from fine sawdust as I used my old, well-worked plot.

Charlottes excavated so far and the taste was wonderful - tubers pretty good in size and appearance just not a huge yield but I may have too greater expectations as they were late going in...  ::)

I used Lady Chrystl for my earlies but the seeds were sent out too early and I lost about half before they were planted. Grew in bags and didn't get a fantastic crop but they were ok.

My second earlies though have been great.  - Vivaldi. Planted out in early march - we have sandy soil. We have had many meals and given some to my parents. I just harvested the last three plants to give more space to the parsnips behind them. Got 9lb of potatoes from 3 plants. Will use these next year without fail, even with our light soil and dry year there was very little scab.
The reward of a thing well done is to have done it....
