help-dust baths
« on: March 29, 2008, 13:22 »
My girlies don't seem to take to new things in their run very well! What should I use to make a dust bath? I gave them a big tray with sand in it. They avoided it as if it was going to kill them! They hated the feel of the sand I think and even putting meal worm treats in didn't tempt them to stand in the tray. Any suggestions please!?

Try some potting compost - perhaps that would look more natural to them.  They should get used to it in a few days.
