hi
i'm thinking of asking santa for an incubator but i am not sure what the difference between automatic and semi-automatic is. Also would I need a purpose made hatchery?

Hi Peter

An automatic incy tends to do everything, turns eggs, keeps temp right and humidity Semi will do some of those but not all, more often than not you have to turn the eggs at least 3 times a day

If you have never done it before than I really think your best bet would be to get Katie Thears guide to Hatching & Rearing
