My son and I have decided to run our two allotments as one unit from next year.  We both have access to water, his is in full sun and mine is in shade from midday. 

Both plots have sheds. There is a greenhouse and fruit cage on mine.  I have the asparagus and we both have rhubarb.

Can anyone suggest a book/website  that would help with the planning?

I use a Google Sheets program (very similar to Microsoft Excel). Each bed is three lines wide and there's different pages for each year. I can bring it up on my phone when I'm down there too.

We used Excel, then got onto Google Sheets (free) for 36 no 8'x4' beds, and it was dead easy to use, and print off when needed down at 'The Patch'!

Rotation planning was a doddle and keeping a record of each year's growing was a pleasant job in the winter!
