Sowing Seed
« on: February 19, 2008, 15:20 »
Hi

I was watching The Good Life over the weekend and Tom and Barbara were planting radish.  They had added the seed to wall paste to keep the seeds separate, so there would be no thinning out and therefore not losing any seeds, and then piping the wall paper paste in to the drills.

Well it got me thinking does it/would it work   :?:

And have any of you come up this any good ideas for sowing seeds evenly :?:
Bye

Heifer

Carpe Diem

The way I see it, if you want the rainbow you have got to put up with the rain!

It was a method that preseeded seed tape and it does work. you can pre chit the seed first as well
I used to work in a helium gas factory, but I walked out, no one talks to me like that.

...I seem to recall the fungicide in the wall paper paste was supposed to help too.  A bit before my time so cannot comment
Failure is only a temporary change in direction to set you straight for your next success.
Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.
