 I stripped the bark off an old piece of tree trunk that was lying in the garden and found hundreds of small white worms. What I would like to know is were they ok for the hens to eat or did I do the right thing killing them with Jeyes fluid ?.

it depends on what type of worms they are but my hens love all sorts of creepy crawlies without any ill effects

They were about 5mm long and white. I take it these are not the type of worms we treat with flubenvet

no these were probably either a wood eating type of worm (if there is such a thing  ) or a lavae of something (your chickens probably would have loved them  )

I got the jeyes fluid on my hands and they stank all night. And I could have let the hens eat the worms. Dont think I will bother with a lottery ticket
