Bunyards Exhibition Broad Bean.
« on: June 16, 2017, 23:04 »
Is Bunyards Exhibition a late autumn sown overwintering bean, or an early spring sown bean?

Seed suppliers seem to differ in their descriptions.

Any regular growers of BE on here to clarify one way or the other, please?

I use them as an early one to go in from February onwards to April. I use Aquadulce Claudia if I want some to overwinter.

Bunyard's is my favourite variety. Have autumn sown and spring sown, but always found spring sowing catches up and makes stronger plants, so now only sow in spring.
We come from the earth, we return to the earth, and in between we garden.
