Has anyone ever tried using a radio to deter birds from eating food?  If so what happened? Has anyone ever tried different genre>
I was thinking of leaving one in a plastic box by my gooseberry bush in my back garden.
I heard something about this on Gardeners' question time but I cannot remember all the details.

I may also try sticking some CDs together shiny side out.

I had problems with birds, particularly blackbirds eating my Raspberries. I used some poles with a tee piece on top, and a cd dangling from each end of the tee. They flash in the sun and breeze. Also I put children's plastic windmills, the sort they have at the seaside, on top of poles. It seems to deter all but the most determined, and it looks quite jolly!
We come from the earth, we return to the earth, and in between we garden.
