Uses for leather offcuts
« on: October 14, 2013, 16:57 »
I just thrown out a broken leather sofa but did cut a sizeable bit of unworn leather off the back (its made up of medium sized rectangular pieces) I've already used some sections to make leather insoles and the pieces are big enough to make leather placemats I reckon. Anyone have any other suggestions? I don't think I can sew the pieces as it is quite thick.

Cover seat pads o chairs? I only say that as this is what I'm planning on doing to my dining furniture.

I will keep that in mind - dining chairs ok for now but may need repair in the future, thanks for the suggestion.

The business end af a few catapults!  I could do with a six inch square to complete two for a Christmas present for my son and grandson.  May I send an S.A.E. ?  ?  ?

Cheers,   Tony. ;)

In an episode of The Salvager (recently repeated on Quest), Rico used leather offcuts were used to cover a headboard.
