Grass fleas

Hi, anyone any idea of what I can use to eradicate grass fleas from my garden. They love my blood so much and I am bitten on a daily basis, although they do not bite my wife (scared probably) I have been in touch with various insecticide manufacturers, including Bayer and Resolva and the only advice offered is to de-flea my dog, which is not the problem as she is treated regularly, it's the garden. There are various products which are for sale in the USA but they are not honey bee friendly or for sale over here so am now on here asking for advice. Pease help as I am itching to death.

Ouch! I've never heard of them so just googled it for you. It seems that you need to cut your lawn quite short to expose them and their larvae. Your dog might just bring them in on its fur so, as you say, it's not his/her fault. Apart from what I've said, get an anti-histamine cream to treat your skin.

Never having kept cats or dogs myself I have never come across these - not very pleasant !

The insecticide advertised on that page can't be bought in the UK, though
