Please forgive me for not being in for a while. Seems whilst tinkering with my chickens I have forgotton to post my progress.
So for those familar with my rotting eggs subject, I'll bring you up to speed.
I have my chickens, five young silkies, which although are all below one year of age (therefore not laying eggs) are now starting to show their true colours.
One of which- a white male supposedly, who we named Russel, is very very agresive to poor Todd, the family rabbit. So he's on a first class trip out of here.
I'll be advertising for him to be sold or traded very shortly, but I hoped the friendly people could give some advise as to what I might put in my advertisment.
He's male but under a year old, so does that make him a poulet, or is there another name for him?
Five toes, which I assume are in the correct order.
Very bright large blue/green/purple ear lobes.
Unfortunatly funny hair cut (the features on his hair got entangled with mess, and in the end I had no other choice but to cut it out. However, come his next malt he ought to be just fine.
Lovely, if not amazing posture. He likes to carry himself with pride, and although the sight of him arching upright and pecking at Todd is very undesireable, it's certainly beautiful the way in which he excutes the movement.
Bright, lively, and very vocal when handled.
Pressumably male.
Still growing.
About well... I got him at about a month old in december, so he's roughly... four months old -to support the still growing part.
One wattle has dropped fully, the other has yet to go.
I have pictures of his face, plumage, toes, even a video of his walking.
Would make a lovely pet, breeding bird, or even perhaps a show bird.
Generally lovely, he just seems to have a personal vendetta against todd which I won't allow.
Very dominant at the moment.
Anything I can add?
I know there is no talk of price in this. Only because I have yet to decide what to offer.
If it were money, what sort of price ranges are there?
If I were to trade, what would be considered a reasonable trade?
I know the people here are very lovely, so as usual I will expect the smart and polite reply as I did recieve so before.
Thank you so much for you time,
Frankie (yes, female.)
