Title: Spear and Jackson 26CC Petrol Hedge Trimmer
Post by: nwalch on January 28, 2008, 19:08
I saw these last year but they have now been discontinued although they are still available on ebay for a short while. Has anyone used one. I have an 18m length of conifers about 8ft high at home and need a decent (but not too expensive) set of hedge cutters. I'll use them twice a year so nothing too fancy. If not can anyone recommend any other model.

I had a look at these when they were still being made.
They were "badge engineered" for S&J.
If I were you, I would have a look at the "screw fix" website, and have a gander at their ones. At least with them, if it isn't right, you can send it back.
Quite reasonably priced as well.
failing that, have a look at the northen tools website. Very reasonably priced hedge cutters on there. A friend of mine bought one of their's, and he has been very pleased with it. :D
