Title: How far apart should perches be?

I'm getting some more girls in a couple of weeks and would like to put another perch in the coup how far appart should they be? I need to move the first perch anyway as it's to close to the back boors and they poo all down it? All advice taken with thanks.

a foot maybe? Just so their beaks are not up eachothers back sides! lol
