Any idea where I can get those teeny little seed baggies from (cheaply would be good)? (I mean the ones like little ziplock bags but only about 2 inches long)

Funny you should ask, I never knew there was such a thing til I saw this from a link in another post this morning! ;) seed saving
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

I got mine from my local indoor market from a place that sells bongs, rolling papers etc. I had to ask for ones without a picture of a particular leaf on it though!

I used to use a lot of them when I made jewellery too, so a lot of people on Ebay used to sell them and some of the craft shops and onlines sell them too.

Just make sure that your seeds are well and truly dry before puttng them in there though, or they'll go mouldy!

I use mainly the little paper bags we used to buy when we sold dinky donuts!!!!!

I use used envelopes cut to whatever size I need.  One side and bottom are already sealed, I selotape second side, leave a flap at top to fold over and selotape when all seeds are in.  Label front and "Bobs yer Uncle!"

I have always used paper bags, never plastic for storing, ask your local independant optician if they have a lab, if so they will throw away hundreds of paper packets that lenses come in, and if your a good patient they will give you millions.
