I have been looking for another greenhouse to put on my allotment and thought I had found a right bargain today when I came across an add on the Preloved site for a 10' x 8' greenhouse for just £50. I wasted no time at all in phoning only to be told that he had forgotten he had put the add on the site and had mentioned the greenhouse to someone on an allotment near him and they were collecting it on Saturday :( oh well never mind I thought back to the drawing board.
Hubby came home from work early and happened to look on the same site I was looking at and noticed another add for a 10' x 8' greenhouse but this time it was being given away free and it had only been advertised in the last few minutes.
After a quick phone call and 4 hours later we are now the proud owners of a great greenhouse that is in good nick with only a few panes of glass needing to be returned.
Having got it home we are now thinking of putting it in our garden opposite our 14' x 8' so it wont get damaged and then I can use that one for the cucumbers peppers and chillies and our big one for the tomatoes and sowing seeds etc.
Any suggestion of anything else I could grow in there too as space won't be limited now.
Chuffed to bits and a bargain of the century for us.

i find my PT is good for getting a quick crop asap. if i think i'll be getting a break in a crop (usually salad) the hot temperatures means you can often fill the gap.

Always nice to get something for nothing. ;)
You could put aside a bit of space for something permanent, a vine, or peach or kiwi for example.
