Good idea Paul  :D  Sunshine pm'd me first thing to say it was a competition made for me.  Think it was John's comments about photos of new shoots

I'll spare you that but after a horrible morning I think a nice piccy is in order so going to post my entry.  Won't promise any talent though

Wasn't quite sure where to put this but I'm sure the lovely mods will move if in the wrong place  :D

So... been looking at the competitions page and was wondering if anyone knows what competitions will be here this year. Obviously as a VERY amateur (but keen) gardener I would like to get started on thinking about growing 'biggest onion', 'most beautiful carrot', the 'parsnip with the most personality' etc etc.

Any ideas?

hey don't mess with me. I've killed more seedlings over the years than you've had hot dinners, lunches, breakfasts and toasties!  ::)
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

OK - most bizarrely shaped chicken!

I know what you mean , Joy, for compy ideas, both the growers and chicken keepers, (unless they already do both), really have to think outside their box.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I'm very easy confused (as you've probably gathered by now). Do you mean that growers should come up with compy ideas for chicken keepers and vice versa. Or that compys should be suitable for both growers and chicken keepers. Nope... still confuddled  ???

Ahhhh, is it because this is posted in the overall compy section that the compy should be suitable for everyone?
