Hi we are beginners i know my dad has used horse manure and swears by it. I have seen locally some forsale in bags that has been picked from a field. When is a good time to dig some in??? can we do it now??. any help would be great thank you

Incorporate it in with your winter digging - if you're starting out then I'd start digging just as soon as the soil is dry enough not to stick to your boots in great clods.

I would advise reading this article thoroughly before using any manure from an untested source.

Make special note of the "Bean Test".

As this is in General Gardening, rather than Grow Your Own, does anybody have info on  Aminopyralid and flowers and shrubs. I assume they are also affected?
