Well done, the cabbages look great, I am envious.  Mine have been in for months now and they are still very tiny, as in the hearts are just the size of a small teacup :( neighbours cabbage plants were planted the same day as mine, bought at the same place, theirs grew fast and have been picked and eaten well over a month ago now :(  Going to start to pull mine up now, I need to fertilize the garden and get it ready for the summer crop.  Cabbage is my absolute favourite vegetable, used to drink the cabbage water too when I was younger, given that up now though, gone onto the red stuff :D  only a glass now and again though

That is where I have gone wrong.  The rest of the veg plot has now been fertilised with horse manure (well rotted) left on the top for a couple of weeks then rotovated in.  Last year my cabbages were lovely.  Still, small is beautiful so they say.  Will pick one to eat tonight- luckily hubby is not much of a cabbage fan :D  so more for me :D  :D  :D
