Title: Glass smashed
Post by: rogertb on April 10, 2015, 13:15
So vandals broke a dozen panes in my geenhouse a couple of nights ago, isn't greenhouse glass expensive, 12 pieces £84 !

I wondered if anyone bothers with insurance, the lady from our society said we only have public liability so the if the idiot cut his hand whilst breaking my glass he could claim but I can't ... go figure...

I presume that by you saying "The lady from our society" it's down the allotment.  I couldn't sleep at night thinking of what the brainless yobs round here would do to a greenhouse on an allotment.

Cheers,  Tony.

It's probably no consolation but they'll be back at school next week. As Tony says greenhouses and plots around here are just a no go even peoples tunnels get slashed.   >:(

You could try replacing with ploycarb? it's probably cheaper in the long run.

Have you contacted the police,if not you need to, if they get enough complaints they may up the patrols around that area
