It's not really gardening, but we haven't got a nature area, so could someone tell me what this is, please? Not the Ragwort..

Thanks for the quick reply. It could be, but not all the google images have the same leaf...
not a dandelion in sight, but it seems to enjoying being a companion to the Ragwort.

There is a slight variation in leaf shape, but essentially they are large wavy edged hearts, that have a paler underside.
The leaves that grow up the stems themselves are slightly different as seen in your last picture
So--burdock fer shore

I was looking at one of these on some plots I was visiting on Sunday and a lady there asked me to ID this one. I said it was burdock as I couldn't think what else it could be

Yup, those are sticky buds. Never forgoet what those look like, once ate one as a 12 year old for a dare.......Takes weeks for those tiny little barbs to disengage from the tongue.........Most uncomfortable.
