Title: Do you keep Bassette poultry?
Post by: spud on January 14, 2024, 12:01
Ive had my birds for about 10 years and sadly ive let them do their own thing and the fertility rates have dropped. Ive been trying to get some new blood lines without any luck, so just in the hope that you may have the breed I'm posting on here...

They are a very nice bird.

I don’t know anyone who has kept them but a google tells me there are quite a few suppliers in Ireland.

You might be able to reinvigorate your flock with a new cockerel and a couple of hens.
