Autumn lawn moss killer and feed
« on: February 25, 2016, 22:01 »
Last autumn I bought a load of this but circumstances meant that I couldn't apply it and it is still sat in the shed.  I don't really have room for it over the summer, is it ok to just put it on the lawn now, or will it do more harm than good?

Autumn lawn feed has a different mix of nutrients - less nitrogen for leaf growth and more phosphorus for root building and potassium to toughen up the grass for winter.  If you chucked it on, then bunged on some high nitrogen feed like pelleted chicken manure I'm sure the grass will cope.

After the mild wet winter, there will be plenty of moss to kill  ;)
