It is with great sadness that I have to say the decision was made to leave Wonky asleep. His leg turns out to be deformed in multiple places. It was inoperable and would have been way too much for him. as much as  many might have challenged my decision to take him to the vet, I am pleased I persevered to get it x-rayed as I know there's nothing more I could have done, but naturally saddened that it was worse than we anticipated. At the end of the day I suppose i have to accept I did everything I could but it wasn't enough. I trust my vet implicitly and know we have made the right decision on this occasion.
Many thanks to all of you who have supported me throughout wonky's short life, please know how much it is appreciated.

Oh Kirsty, thats so sad. I am typing this with tears in my eyes so goodness knows how you are feeling hun. As has been pointed out you have done all you can and a lot moe than most so please don't beat yourself up. Take care and RIP Wonky duckling xxx
