I have been trying to check on how long a freshly culled and guted turkey will keep.

I understand they should be hung for 7-10 days before gutting but once gutted I am agt a loss to find advice on storage etc.

Brian would gut the birds the morning they were due to go out, and most of them were delivered the next day, but last Christmas, with the weather it took 4 days to get to one lady, but as it was cold, she said it arrived still very cold.

I know some of our customers and my daughter have kept theirs either in a garage or out in the garden in its turkey box with freezer packs for 4 days too.
