Since the clocks have gone back our big chooks have become more interested in life and have started laying again

Two of our Ambers, Tinker and George have been escaping on and off for the past week but all they do is come up to the poots, rabbits and back door, their quite happy to be put back in their covered run only to escape again a few minutes later

I've just looked out and George is up at the rabbits again so I decided it was time to take the plunge and let them free range

They are having a ball, they don't know where to go first

I can picture that! Our two used to love free ranging around the garden and for our entertainment, watching the race when they spot something tasty!

When Eilidh went out with greens about 4, it was like a scene from the Pied Piper, the girls saw the greens, charged up the garden squawking at the top of their voices, surrounded her then trotted down the garden behind her and waited to be picked up and placed in their coop
