I'll be going to our local independant garden centre and would anticipate about the same price/quantity as CQ.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Focus price is £2.99 for 50 but buy three packs for £5. Garlic as well in the deal, two huge cloves.

I know it won't help everyone,  but my local independent, Brookside Nurseries at Anstey have them in. 5 different varieties.

250 cost me £2.85.

(Hyacinth bulbs 40p each also loadsa varieties/colours).

I got mine from wilko 50 of each is about right for us, the larger packs are good value but I would need someone to share a pack.

The ones I bought were loose, priced by weight. Buy as many or as few as you wish.

And yes, I did count out 250, making sure I got 250 wholesome ones!

I'm never quick enough off the mark so by the time I got to Wilko they'd sold out  :(

I went to my local garden centre instead and got 50 red sets called Comred and 50 yellow sets called Shen Shyu for £1.49 each packet which I thought was a good deal... :D

1 kilogram comprising 123 lovely japanese onion sets for £3 from local nursery. i'm happy enough with that. they're twice the size of the ones i planted last year, i'm hoping that translates into twice the size foe the end product.

all i have to do now is prepare a bed like it says here: http://www.exhibition-seed.info/cultivation.htm
