Sorry if this post seems a bit vague!

I'm simply looking for some suggestions or ideas to include in a shed build project.

I've recently acquired (legally I promise!) a mahoosive shed from freecycle. It was around 6.5m square (yes, metres  :blink:)

It was made with a 4x2 frame and 8x4 3/4 inch ply sheets, hence why it's now a huge pile of timber. (3 full transit van trips! lol)

I'm starting to prepare to rebuild it on my plot but in a different shape, roofline etc.

Before I do, are there any suggestions as to features, essentials, best practice, hints, tips etc to consider? My shed won't be as big, but I'd quite like a potting shed/conservatory/french door affair. Perhaps a multi-room affair. Who knows.

I guess I'm seeking inspiration before getting started.

I'm installing a sink with drainer in my new shed (fed by a detachable hose pipe) for washing veg etc. Also, a water boiler heated with a parrafin stove for my home brewing set up. In my other shed (i know - 2 sheds  !) I have a hammock for those rest periods between digging.

and I was only allowed a 4 x 6 and was grateful for that...you lucky devil..I think your shed is nearly as big as my plot

I like the idea of incorporating the chickens so inside you have a seat to it on and can lift to collect eggs outside chicken roost not sure which book I read it in but seemed a good idea.
