Received my muslin today - fast delivery considering the strike. Having looked at it, not only is it suitable for straining (jelly etc) but can be cut into squares for putting spices etc in when making chutney. At 99p a metre (plus very reasonable postage) this is a real bargain.

Looks like you've lucked out on delivery as the PO is now on strike for 3 days! It's a bit denser than butter muslin but I'm sure it will work (says she who's been known to use a pop sock for spices).

It arrived this morning, postie said only sorting on strike today, his turn tomorrow :)

I did write my views about strike, but thought better of posting them....not wishing to provoke a lot of argument and...... Aunty's wrath

No BRB for me...I'm a good girl :D

I blame the management for letting it get to this stage. They should have sat down with the union months ago and come to an agreement. Aunty wouldn't dare to BRB me :tongue2: :tongue2: :tongue2:.
