hehe, i planted about 20 sets of reds sparadicaly around the garden,


Half have bolted, 95% of whats left are like spring onions, but 2 are massive like a grape fruit, very strange!!

Think i will go with whites next year (if i still have a gargen to grow in

about 10% of my red's have gone to seed but tose that are ok are a similar size to the whites they are next to

Just returned from holiday and my red onions are doing well (grown from seed).

They look quite big - not sure when I should be harvesting them..........................but my calabrese has all flowered - darn it!

Well my japanse onios..about 50% are a good size, 40% small ish and the rest hardly any growth..Wont bother with these again as the standard onions catch up anyway!

White onions, 60% are a good size, 30% small ish and again some havent really go t going..

Reds, my first year, 70% are decent, 20% small and the rest are no shows..

Pretty good overall..I noticed the red onions is Asda were all quite small so I'm happy with the outcome and will do them every year..
