A secret shed
« on: February 27, 2008, 19:38 »
The following pics show a secret shed.  By secret I mean only i know it's there   between me and the other two blokes i am sharing this plot with. :D .  It is at the top corner of the plot we have all just taken on, and no one has delved that deep into the brambles and self seeded trees. There is a really long shed adjoining it and from inside we thought it went the length of the plot as we could not see out the window for brambles etc.

The back corner as described you cant see a shed

Cutting my way through the brambles reveals the door

open the door and to my delight there are plenty of timbers and a large roll of mesh, also notice it is built like an old air raid shelter :D

the green door is made from steel and has a padlock on, that i had to cut off

Once open I was beaming like a Cheshire cat at my find :D lots of new timber drinkers feeders perches etc all set up for chooks

another view inside shows large window (smashed) at back and little air vent at top

Now then the bloke who's side its on at this stage mentioned that he was not interested in that part of the plot as it was to much and up to that fence would be adequate,  so i have asked the manager to ask him for me if i can take over that area

On the left of the path up to the trees and brambles is all he wants (the easy bit)

This pic shows the start of the long shed that we thought ran to the end of the garden

This shows from where the higher roof starts on the above pic

Oh i hope he says he doesn't want it.  Is that wrong     :D

It is an all round good find There are greenhouse heaters, Tilly lamps, bags of compost, green netting, chicken wire, timber, a stove (paraffin)wheel barrow etc.etc.

It is a private allotment so the owner left everything he has not been there in over 5 years so there is a load to do,  but the site is brill with lotty association, water, shop and it is only a ten minute walk from my house  :D
