Hello does anyone know how to get onto the online tax return system I've got as far as registering but need a password,have rung tax office they told me I need a password to register I asked where to get password,they said when I've registered they will send me the password through the post I told them that I can't register with out the password was told again to register ended up getting on computer so the assistant could talk me through the registration system which needed a password to register I again asked where the password was the assinstant couldn't get in to the system and asked me for my password which is what I asked for in the first place, conclusion I got a paper tax return form this morning with an advice slip saying it's easier online  jezza

Do you not need to go to the government gateway site to get the password ?

That's what the assistant said she tried to get into the Gateway it asked for a password which we had been 1 1/2 hours going round in circles  got paper one now so got some interesting reading I think not   jezza

Hello I finally got into the system I asked a mate how to get in to register he said usr the universal password it begins with B and ends in ks it worked first time  jezza
