A few of mine had bent over and yes, they had white rot  :ohmy:

Dug them all up and very few of them are ok to dry  :( 
I'll have to get some packs of butter, to make garlic butter for the freezer with any cloves that are salvageable.

Is that what garlic should look like by now?  :ohmy:

Mine started off great, but lots have died and the ones that are left look like small, thin spring onions.  I just assumed they were bulking up under the soil.  Should they have leek like stems above ground?  I have not grown them before.

Mine last year were a bit pathetic; better than spring onion size but certainly not big, thick and leeky. They turned out alright though, if a little on the small size.

This years are doing much better. I couldn't really say why except possibly that the soil has been better prepared.
