Some pics of my plot taken in the autumn. It is like an allotment in that we rent it (from the council for peanuts) but attached to our own garden. It is at least 250ft long, width from one side of the beds to the other. It was completely covered in brambles 4 yrs ago - we are still clearing them as you can see! The bit where the hen house and slide are in the first pic  belongs to us. Note the workers having tea in the last pic - my youngest and his grandad!

Great pictures, I too envy the size of your back yard, enjoy it. Thanks for sharing!

Love the bench scene! :D

When the Council Tax was introduced, I confirmed with The Valuation Office Agency, that land rented/leased and attached to a property could be included in the assessment of that property for Council Tax banding purposes.

Has anyone had any experience of this?

Great pics - here's our site manure heap this morning:

Note how it gently steams. What a way to start the year.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Noshed, which site are you on?  Is it the one off Queen's Road?  If so, you're about 5 minutes walk from me

That's really funny Noshed, I live in Acacia Road!  Didn't even realise there were lotties behind Kelmscott until I got mine at Honeybone (Low Hall Lane), shows how many times I've been to the gym there
