got allotment in june massive plot 100ftx30 about 6ft high in nettles bramble couch grass thistle dock bindweed& all manner of other things glass bricks etc .really pleased have managed to dig two thirds with just me spade. just about 3 tons of roots to dispose of now .looking forward to spring now.

glad to hear that you`re now winning. slow and steady is the way to go.
i think all of us on this forum are drumming our fingers in anticipation of the spring! :lol:

hi if you can hire a skip for all those weeds it a lot easier and quicker then taking a few bags at a time to the local skips and some coucile do cheaper rate for skip if only green waste is in them yours big green bloke

Let the weeds dry out, spreaded all over and then rake them up, put a bit of petrol on them and burn them.

bet is back feels better than mine still thats the hard bit done hopefully waiting for dryer weather now so i can put a border round & try to sort out the path ps and ahappy new year to all
